How To Make Bountea Compost Tea

- Assemble the Bountea Compost Tea Brew Kit according to the instructions.
- Add warm water for the desired brew size to the Bountea Compost Tea Brew Kit . Plug in the pump to bubble air through the water. This will oxygenate and de-chlorinate the water.
- Place the strainer bag in the brewer and add the correct amount of Alaska Humisoil and Bioactivator.
- Add one scant capful of the defoaming agent to each brew.
- Brew for 18 to 24 hours.
- When fully brewed the Bountea Compost Tea will smell like a rich earthy wine
DILUTION AND APPLICATION
- Remove the strainer bag and contents from the bucket.
- Add marine Mineral Magic-M3 and/or Root Web as needed.
- Dilute the Bountea Compost Tea 8:1 before application. Dilute 10:1 for foliar sprays.
- Apply the Bountea Compost Tea within 12 – 24 hours after brewing, or keep for up to a week in a cool place or refrigerator. Bountea Compost Tea can be frozen for up to three months in a deep freeze.
- Each gallon of Bountea Compost Tea will treat 250 – 500 square feet of ground. That is an area 10 – 20 feet by 25 feet.
- On new, untreated ground, apply every week for the first four weeks. Then apply every two to four weeks for the rest of the growing season. Bountea Compost Tea cannot be over-applied.
