Roses

Roses needs lots of loving care: regular mulching, generous feeding and careful pruning.
•  Dig in Humisoil and Soil Life Starter around the base of the rose.
•  Apply Bountea Compost Tea with Root Web as a soil drench in early spring and late summer. Water deeply.
•  The rose plants will need lots of space around them as they will grow larger and stronger with the Bountea System.
•  During the season, spray the leaves of the growing plants with Bountea Compost Tea with M3 diluted 10 to 1, every three weeks. This will help protect the leaves from disease and allow better flowering. Make sure to cover at least 70% of all the leaves with the spray.
•  If you have an outbreak of black spot or other disease, spray with Bountea Compost Tea to which 1 tablespoon of QLC has been added at the beginning of the brewing cycle.

Research Results

Organics: do they really work?: Susan M. Williams, 2006, Institute of Ecosystem Studies, NY read
In as little as 3 weeks, the roses sprayed with compost tea showed noticeable improvement in growth and vigor, with lush green foliage. They bloomed heavily and the flowers were twice as large as the flowers on plants treated with Immunox Plus.  Compost Tea and “Messenger” suppressed black spot equally well.
